As you head toward the new year, think about this past year. Are you focsing on all the challenges or are you concentrating on your blessings? Are you looking in the rear view or the windshield?

In the 1954 Irving Berlin musical, White Christmas, Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney sang the song, Count Your Blessings. The first verse goes like this.
When I’m worried and I can’t sleep, I count my blessings instead of sheep, and I fall asleep counting my blessings.
When my bnkroll is getting small, I think of when I had none at all, and I fall asleep counting my blessings.

As you look back at 2020, have you been thinking abuyt all the challenges, or the blessings? Do you have a roof over your head, heat and AC, reliablee transportation, friends? Make a list of the good things that have happened and focus on them as you move into the new year. Stay positive, you will accomplish a lot more and feel better about everything.

I close with this verse, John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me yu may have peace,. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” Jesus spoke these words over 2000 years ago and bring comfort to us even today.
