Direct, Fun, Lighthearted, Informative
So you have an event coming up and you need to make it the best one ever. The venue is under contract, the caterer is coming up with the menu. The entertainment is putting their act together. All you have left to do is get the best keynote speaker possible within your budget. Where do you go?
What are you looking for in a speaker? Entertaining? Knowledgable? Lighthearted? Fun? Informative? Great story teller? Someone who will keep the audience engaged? Does this person even exist?
You may be tired of the same canned presentations you have heard time and again. You really want someone with real life and relatable stories that will touch your in a special way. In other words, you want the speaker to make you look good.
A Little About Steve Reed, Keynote and Conference Speaker
Steve is no stranger to being up front and on stage. It seemed like the tradition was to bring the preacher’s kids up front any opportunity that availed itself. I lost track of the number of times I was “volentold” that I would be doing something in the upcoming program.
In the early 1990’s, Steve was introduced to Toastmasters International. He found a home. It was there that he started to work on his craft. For over 25 years, Steve was at a Toastmasters meeting almost every week. One of the fun components of the organization was the contests. He lost track of all the awards received at different levels. Steve learned how to develop 5 to 30 minute presentations. Steve have even been known to do one hour+ presentations.
Over the years Steve developed a number of different types of presentations, from the serious and technical to the fun and somewhat humorous. One of his favorites is a speech titled, “Wow, I didn’t see that coming.” It’s all about the first 6 months of marriage and dealing with kidney stones, herniated discs and shingles. He loves to make people laugh, and this one fills the desire.
As an executive coach, licensed through the Ziglar organization, Steve enjoys opportunities where he can be an encourager, bringing a plan for success. As a conference speaker and panelist, Steve is experienced at engaging with both others on the panel as well as keeping the audience focused on the material being discussed.

With his decades of coaching, he has the ability to observe and help people make course corrections. Licensed Ziglar Choose to Win Coach
Executive Coach
In 1981, Steve was first introduced to the master motivator, Mr. Zig Ziglar. This event set Steve on a course of learning from one of the best teachers he could have had. After reading Mr. Ziglar’s books, listening to his tapes & CD’s, and attending events where he was speaking, Steve was well on his way to implementing many of the tried and true ideologies.
In the early 90’s, Steve started coaching friends, clients and his sales people helping them understand their personality temperaments better by using the DISC methods. Very quickly, he found himself coaching and mentoring people, sharing many of the same insights that he had learned from Mr. Ziglar.
Fast forward to the summer of 2019. Steve’s friend Tom Ziglar, proud son of Zig Ziglar, launched his first solo book, Choose to Win. Shortly after the release of this great book, Tom put the call out for success focused coaches to teach the Choose to Win mindset. Steve was invited to be in the first licensing class of Ziglar Choose to Win coaches.
Today, Steve uses this time proven process to help clients become better in seven key areas of their lives: Mental, Spiritual, Physical, Financial, Family, Career, and Personal all while helping them maintain balance. In addition, Steve helps people develop their “why” and the grit they need to succeed. He wraps his coaching up with the “perfect start” to each day and helping clients with a better understanding of what their purpose is in life.
Steve hosts regular FREE webinars designed to share some of the richness of the Ziglar mindset with perspective clients.
